'Crest'– Kilnformed Glass Wave
'Crest' is a kilnformed glass wave meticulously crafted at Wild Indigo Artisan Design, shaped through many firing cycles using hand-cut sheet glass and crushed glass fragments. Inspired by a deep love for the ocean and the soft sandy beaches found from the wild wonderfully rugged Hebrides to the serene coves of Cornwall, this piece captures the essence of coastal beauty. Each wave reflects the natural rhythms and textures of the sea, embodying the handcrafted quality and artistic passion central to my work. I hope 'Crest' brings a little of these cherished landscapes into your space, evoking calm and connection to nature.
There is a choice of base for this design. You can choose Cumbrian slate, Oak or a soft wood 'Beachy' style base (see pictures). Please state your choice on your order.
This piece is freestanding and works well in a range of positions.
Glass panel size is approx: 183x 154mm
Base approx 100 x 90mm x 25mm
The glass fixing tightens at the back using a slot top screwdriver.
This glass panel comes in a gift box and the base is wrapped in acid free tissue paper. All packaged well for delivery.
